Leopard Patches Rawr Me

Not as complicated as it looks after all

So, I've done a tiger theme, a cow theme, a giraffe theme, and a few other animals you can think of.. the only one that I've not done before is the leopard. RAWR, always hesitated to try it because it looks rather complicated and I can't stand my nails being ruin for some reason. But heck, this morning, I was just in the mood, and finally completed it after 3 rounds. Hmm, I don't settle of second best.

How did I do it? 

(All products are from FaceShop, what can I say, loyal customer)

1. Base Coat is necessary. Protects the nail and it give a smooth effect to the next layer you're putting on
2. Give it a while for the base coat to dry and apply on your first layer of base colour. In my case, its the gold. If you think one layer isn't opaque enough, feel free to apply on the second layer after the first layer is dry.
3. Use a darker colour to draw spots on the base colour. It does not have to be perfect round spots, the messier the better.
4. Use a thin brush to outline the spots with black. As you can see in the picture, the isn't outlined in a perfect round. Just messily surround the spot leaving little gaps in between and WAHHHLAAAA!!! The leopard effect
5. Oh, top coat it when everything is dried. Gives the smooth and shiny effect for a touch of perfection.

End result

Go test it out and pamper yourself. Just remember tip 1#, the messier the better.
