WPJ 3239, here's to you and your car.

Dearest Double Parkers that has no sense of responsibility or whatsoever to actually own a car.

Malaysia is amazing. We've brought parking to a WHOLE new level, and to negatively correlate that, it has brought my level of tolerance 6ft down the ground. The creative parkers, not only double park now, they even triple park. SALUTE. Best part is, they leave their cars there thinking the road belongs to them. Well done.

Instead of being hypocritical over this topic, I have to admit that I too do double park as a last resort (entering class late), BUT yes, my mum taught me well, I leave my number in the car for people to contact me so I'll be able to remove my car if I'm in the way. 

I happened to be in Taylors today, had to pick my sister after her exams. I parked my car at 12.15. Not long after, the MYVI (picture above) doubled parked behind me, I didn't bother so much cause my sister was only coming out at 12.30. So when my sister got into the car, that dear MYVI was still behind me, blocking me. I did what anyone else would do, I started to honk, hoping for the driver to be around, or at least close enough to hear my honk saying "YOU'RE IN MY WAY". I waited, I tolerated, from 12.30 to 12.45 to 12.50 to 1.00 to 1.10..... AND I STILL WAS NOT ABLE TO MOVE!!!

So here's what I have to say now,

1. If you decide to double park, make sure you leave your number there for people to contact you. What if I had an emergency and I needed to get home? What if I had exams on that day (WHICH I HAVE) and you made me late for my exam? What if I needed to pick someone else for something important? What if my grandmother was alone at home (WHICH SHE WAS) and something happened to her? Again, what if I had an emergency? ARE YOU IN ANYWAY GOING TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IT ALL?
2. If you decide to double park, IT SHOULD BE for ONLY A SHORT TIME!! You, my dear, parked your car at 12.15 or so. You came back at 1.10 plus, and THAT IS ALMOST AN HOUR? Do you know how many things can happen in an hour? Do you know lives can be created and taken away in JUST ONE HOUR!! Please be considerate enough to think for others.
3. If you decide to double park, YOU SHOULD BE NEARBY TO HEAR THE HONkS. I absolutely dislike it when people honk, and therefore, I hate pressing my honk. I pressed onto my honk every 3 minutes that passed. LUCKY YOU, you were blocking me cause if you were to block some "tai lou" or someone closer, my mum or dad, or BETTER YET, Aunty Eve, you, my dear, WOULD HAVE A TASTE OF HELL. What in the world were you thinking when you parked your car ten miles away from where you really where? You study in Taylors to gain knowledge with that brains of yours? Yeah, your actions are showing otherwise.

So from now on, have some courtesy to think of others on the road, then maybe others would think for you as well. Again, lucky for you, you were only blocking me, if it was anyone of my friend's from HELP, your car would have been scratched, drawn on with markers, get involved with the police OR towed away by MPSJ.
