Dining at Huck's Cafe

Ever wanted to dine in a lovely environment, feeling the cooling breeze through your hair, having to witness a lovely garden and water sculpture sight, with good company and not to mention being served with food that would simply cause satisfaction to you. Is this what you want? I have the right place for you to dine at in this case.

Huck's Cafe

Its authentic home cooking, one that you would rarely see on the streets these days. Huck's Cafe provides a home cooked food in a home like setting suitable for almost any occasion. From celebrating anniversaries, to birthdays, or even a place you would like to catch up with friends, or bring clients to have a taste of delicious, and also if you want to impress a girl by bringing her to a place to dine, this would be the one place on the top of my list to go for.

So, you're probably thinking whats on the menu. They serve a variety of dishes, from Asian cuisine to Western cuisine. (Click the bottom links to check out the menus).

Now, whats the pricing like?

RM88 nett per pax
A little pricey you think? Here's the best part, this includes a starter, soup, main course, desserts, freshly squeezed juice, French-press coffee, Local coffee or English tea. Trust me when I say the price is worth it.

Edwin and I dined at Huck's Cafe recently (before they moved), was welcomed by one of the staff in Huck's Cafe and was escorted to my table upstairs at the balcony. Environment was comfortable, and the sight to the garden downstairs was fantastic. If I wasn't hungry then, I would have stood there the whole night to just stare at the beautiful garden and the twinkling stars in the sky.

Our menu for the night

Basil Seed Mint Soda
-Pandan Leaf from garden
-Fresh Mint from garden

I was enjoying every sip of the drink

Serawak Acar

Pumpkin Soup
Wild Mushroom Soup

Cottage Lamb Stew Pie
Lamb Shank with Garlic Mashed Potato

And when dessert came, Huck Seng personally came out to have prepare the creme brulee we had. It was rather fascinating to watch him prepare it.

The Classic Cream Brulee
Chocolate Mud Pie Ice Cream

Ambarellar Sour Plum

We ended the meal with an aromatic cup of coffee

served in a really pretty tea pot
=)

It would be a place I would love to return to try out their other dishes. Yes, and you can even bring your own bottle of wine to pair with your dishes. Extra cockage chargers are excluded from the meal price. It would be something out of the ordinary, like how they say it, Huck's Cafe has brought authentic home cooking to a whole new level.
