My apologies for not updating as frequent as I use to. Been so caught up with things, I can't even keep tap of what I'm suppose to do next. Oh well, I owe a lot of post so I'll start with whichever comes to mind first.
A while back, I attended a Bartending Competition, held in KL Hilton, and honestly, I was rather fascinated in ways I did not think would fascinate me. I've been rather keen in flaring lately, so I've actually watch many video that are done by professionals, I guess I had my standards and expectations before attending this event.
I'm not sure what drink was this but it tasted horrible! Reminded me so much of fever mixture I use to drink when I was a kid, just that this is much more concentrated with vodka in it.
This was Pineapple Lime Vodka
I must that is was so very much better the other drink. Sweet at the beginning and sourish after taste was just nice for me.

Basically, they create a whole new drink and name it. I guess if you're good enough to come up with a damn good drink, it goes down in history, like drinks such as Margarita, Sex on The Beach, Illusion and so many more.
I remember them naming their drink with REALLY REALLY weird names, which gave me a good laugh. Haha, there was one participant who named his drink "Girl in the Cell" and got mocked by the emcee a little. Then again, you'll never know, this might just be a famous drink ten years down the road.
I came to realise that flarers from Johor are rather gentle with their bottles and are damn good in juggling. A little too slow of my liking though and this includes the music they set their performance with.
Didn't stay for the whole competition, but it was a good experience. I'll be looking forward to more events in this line. There are so many people out there who does not even know this "sport" exist. More exposure should be done, for all you know, talent is hidden in one of us who do not know about this

thristhan - yeah, most of them dropped their bottles. haha, was quite disappointed when they did, nonetheless, some of their stunts were good
i'm sure it is interesting to watch their 'stunts'. I've seen it once in Mandarin Oriental and it was awesome!
haha you should see those professional ones in Las Vegas. they're amazing attractive! =D
