FHM 2011

Food and Hotel Malaysia 2011 (FHM 2011)
Once again, Malaysian Exhibition Services brings you The Food and Hotel Malaysia Year 2011, to Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC). This event was held on the 20th to the 23rd September. It was not to my surprise that it as such a successful event, it has been successful since year 1993. FHM is held every once in two years.

FHM 2009, had a total of 808 companies involved from 40 different countries, which attracted 18,100 visitors from 57 different countries, and it went as well in year 2011. FHM is supported by The Ministry of Tourism Malaysia, Malaysian Association of Hotels, Chef Association Malaysia, and The Malaysian Food and Beverage Executive Association. Endorsed by Matrade.

In conjunction with FHM 2011, there was also, Propak Malaysia 2011 and Culinaire Malaysia 2011. There were 40 different countries that participated the event this year, which includes Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Denmark, Egypt, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Iran, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States of America, Vietnam & Yemen.

It was a really great experience. Different food culture was presented at every corner which was very much fascinating. Skills from talented chefs was lurking all around the exhibition halls. Definitely a month to get fat.

 Desserts

 Mille Crepe Cake

 Mousse

 Rose Petal Decorated Cake

 This drink was really unique.
Its not exactly those pearls you get from Chatime, its not chewy. It has this popping sensation your mouth, having sweet liquid of the drink seeping out. Would like to have this again.

 Cupcakes

 Bread?

This too was something I remember very cleary. Salmon goes vegetarian now. Trust me when I say the texture, smell and taste, is very much similar to real salmon. There was Salmon Fish, Tuna Fish and Butterfish served.

 Other nicely decorated cakes

 More cupcakes and desserts

 Smurfs

Cute person in a pumpkin dress
All made out of fondant

 Whats on heat?

 Wonderfully designed cakes

How can they afford to miss the trendy macarons

One of the few art piece beautifully done. All CHOCOLATE base. Simply amazing huh.
