MIGF Style Rocks 2011

Its in the midst of Malaysia's Biggest Fine Dining Festival, and it would be unfortunate to allow this hyped up event to be silent till the big day comes. I really can't think of a better idea than to throw a party to keep the excitement going.

The Malaysia International Gourmet Festival together with one of the hottest Fashion Line, Melium Group pulled off a brilliantly mind blowing event, Style Rocks. Not only with the finest food now, but also the finest sense of style with finest companion for the evening.

Style Rocks was held in Euphoria, by Ministry of Sound (MOS). The entrance was packed with people, much more than I expected, to be frank. Party dress code was, Glamorous Rock, ladies that night sure did look gorgeously glam while the gentlemen pulled off a rockingly smart image.

Upon arrival on the red carpet, we were greeted by the photographers, and a warm handshake from Kevin Pedley.

As we entered in the club, a free flow of Magnum Ice Cream was served. Yummy huh. Whats a party without the drinks, free flow of red wine, white wine, beer, jagermeister, baileys and a few others I guess.

The opening show was owned by the gorgeous 13 finalists of Miss Universe Malaysia alongside with none other than the Organizing Chairman of Malaysia International Gourmet Festival, Dato' Steve Day.

 Dato' Steve gave a word or two which brought up the excitement in the club. Dato’ Farah Khan, President and Fashion Queen of  Melium Group was then invited up spontaneously by Dato Steve Day to join him in his speech.

 Hansen Lee, our Emcee for the night did a great job at keeping it going smoothly.

Whats having a fashion event without a runway?

What I find absolutely amazing about this was that the runway show was not done by professional models but friends of Melium Group, which includes, celebrities, fashion icons and friends of the group.

The runway was on HEAT!!!

Chef Wan

For some reason, I was knocked off my feet when he came out. Chef Wan on the Runway. HELL YEAH!

 After the awesome runway show was done, they had dancers up on the podium.

I must say that it was a wonderful success, I had a great night and so did everyone else who attended, and seeing Chef Wan on the runway was a highlight for me. I can't wait for MIGF Finale. Excitement is already overwhelming!
