Day 3, Morning Torture

Whats a traditional chinese wedding without the morning torture for the guys? Haha, just thinking back about it makes me laugh so hard.

So this is how my morning started.

Hello Singapore!

I had to wake up at 5 to get ready. Had to leave the hotel at 7 in the morning to reach Jie's place by 7.30. Woke up, showered, straighten my hair, sprayed the fringe up, put on my pink dress, wear my corsage, put on my bracelet, makeup and I was good to go.

Yes, I was the Maid of Honour, and am pretty much honoured to be. =) First time yo! I wore that dress, satin, pink dress, custom made, and I loved it. nice nice?

In the maxi cab, haha, dont get me going about how efficient the cabs are in singapore again.

Reached there, and we had to get ready for the torture, DUM DUM DUM!!!

We were getting ready the little yummy shot drinks for the boys. *anticipating*? I'll let you know later.

Got ready the props with Rianne, Elissa, and Rushell. Rianne and Rushell were the other bridesmaid.

And Jie was in her room, getting ready. =)

BOYS ARE HERE!!! TIME TO OVER THE VEIL!!!

woots woots, at this point, my heart was pumping like as though I'm the one getting married. haha.

So yes, Alvin, needed to go down to open the door for the kor (groom). With two oranges in his hand that is. haha, Don't know why, dont ask me, I don't know. Anyways, here's the drill, Alvin is suppose to go down, get a red packet from kor, (check the money inside, and see if its enough/acceptable amount), pass the oranges to kor, and open the door for him.

So, here's what happened, Alvin got to the car, and we were screaming from the window upstairs saying, "CHECK HOW MUCH MONEY IS INSIDE, IF ITS SMALL, GIVE THE RED PACKET BACK AND ASK FOR ANOTHER ONE"

and Alvin of course checked la, and he screamed back

"ITS THE LIGHT GREEN NOTE!!! HOW?!"

"ASK FOR MORE LAAAA"

Hahaha, eventually, Alvin gave him the oranges, and opened the door for kor. hhahaha, hilarious much.

So when Kor reached up to the house, haha, we asked for red packets again.

Us being us, we of course checked, and hahaha, money is never enough, we kinda asked for more money 3 times, and 3 times the money double double double! SD YO! =D hahaha, i felt so evil absorbing money just like this. Haha. As you can see in the picture, we counted to the very last cent! =D

FIRST TASK

What was the funny drink we were mixing? Lets test all their taste senses.

1. Sugar water - Mixed with half a packet of sugar inside (thats alot) mixed with honey and syrup

2. Salt water - SO MUCH SALT that the salt really couldn't dissolve anymore under boiling water

3. Pure Balsamic Vineger - PURE

4. Wasabi drink - THICK

5. Bitter Tea - We chinese call it leong cha. The normal one is already bitter as hell, this is ADDED WITH 5 MORE SPOONS OF THE BITTER POWDER.

And all this are put into shot glasses, mixed with extremely blue food colouring (I swear they're systems inside was all blue after).

come come!!! BEST MAN FIRST!!!

I honestly, do not know what he got. but his face was priceless!

The other Brother (second best man)

THIS WAS THE ONE THAT MADE ME LAUGH THE HARDEST!!!

Why? hahahahaha. So Elgene was my partner for the wedding (third best man), and I guess me being his partner, he would have trusted me to give him so sweet drink or something! hahhahahahaha. so he came to the door, and said to me, "You pick for me" HAHAAHAHAHAHAHHA AND HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA!!!

I picked the wasabi shot for him. HAHAHAHAHHAHAHA, WHEN I FED HIM, i think the wasabi taste shot up his nose. and he looked back at me with those eyes!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, I COULDN'T STOP LAUGHING!!!

"Carmen, I trusted you!!!"

Ong Wei, I don't know what drink he took, but he was laughing and laughing and laughing!!

Now, Kor's turn to take the drink!

Honestly, kor's face was the most stoned face. LIKE HE DRANK WATER ONLY! hahahhahahahahahhahahahaha.

We were expecting some weird face, but hahahahhhahah there was nothing!

TASK TWO

BLOW BLOW BLOW THE BALLOON BOYS!!!

What we gonna do with the balloons?

and what are we gonna do with the strings and the cucumber?!

HAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAAAAAAAAAAAA

here's what we're gonna do.

Two brothers, having the cucumber tied around their waist.

Other brothers, hold the balloon at your crotch.

Toothpicks as spikes are poked into the end of the cucumber.. and GUESS WHAT THEY HAVE TO DO.

with no hands, swing the cucumber to the other person's crotch, with the spikes and burst the balloon. If you miss and hit other things, WHOOPSS, sorry! =)

HHAHAHAHAHA, it is not as easy as it looks okay! =)

Demetrius was just far too strong! HE BROKE THE CUCUMBER!!! HAHAHHAHAHAHAAHAHHAAAA

HAHAHA, it was enough torture for one morning. We allowed kor in to get jie. =)

It was lovely, and woots, we're off to the church!!
