If yall have been keeping up with my post, I recently went to Singapore (last week), and it was one of the best holiday I've been to. I've posted about my day 1 in Singapore (click to read). and here's to day 2, alongside with the Registration of Marriage, ROM.
Guess where the ROM was held? In the one place I long to visit in Singapore. THE SINGAPORE ZOO. I'm telling you the Singapore Zoo beats Malaysia's Zoo HANDS DOWN. Malaysia does not even come close to par with the Singapore Zoo standard. For one, THEY'RE WHEELCHAIR FRIENDLY. Malaysia's zoo isn't even "walking friendly". Second, its CLEAN EVEN IF ITS A PLACE FILLED WITH ANIMALS. I assure you, you wont find rubbish on the sidewalks. Thirdly, the animals really look well taken off (well fed, well clean, well nurtured). Lions and tigers are huge, and not anorexic looking like the ones in Malaysia. Zebras have actual black and clean white stripes. Hahaha, Malaysia's zebra's are almost all black, why? DIRTY!!! thats why!
Anyways, yes it is pretty amazing to have the ROM in the zoo. Woke up early, about 7 in the morning I guess. Yes, a night owl like me, 7 in the morning is extremely early. Sometimes I wonder if I'm meant to sleep in the morning and be awake when its dark. haha, i do appreciate the light in the dark more than the day light itself somehow.

Good morning Singapore
Yes, I wore this to the ROM. ITS IN THE ZOO, I wanted to feel comfortable and have fun with the casual attire.
=) Jie asked to go casual anyways. =)

Sue me.
After getting ready, we went down for breakfast. Hotel breakfast are the best. Fav food baby!!!! Pancakes, cereal with milk, omelette, juice, fruits, ham, bacon, toast, bread with butter. YUMMY!!!

Though I have to say again, Singapore food is bland. haha.
Breakfast with the family.

Trisha

PANCAKES!!!
I have been craving, for pancakes alot. Though, I still prefer the really thin ones.
flooded with maple syrup!!!

Hello Breakfast!
Called for the Maxi Cab again. Yes I can go on and on and on about how efficient they are. Asked for a cab at 10, they were there at 9.50, with the stool ready for my grandmother to get up the cab with ease. Oh, the efficient people in Singapore, just amazes me.

Got into the cab and mum decided to snap snap snap away with me. My personal routine! =D

somehow, I just really like this picture. <3
Mother and daughter.

Us three
Alright, once we reached the zoo, we had the tram to take us all the way in to the location. Haha, I felt rather VIP-ed. For one, I didn't have to line up in the LONG LINE to enter to zoo. I had a guestlist! HAHAHA! I just skipped everyone in line. Walking in like a pro! And as everyone walked in the trail in the zoo, I had a tram taking me around (us). hahahahaha. Let me live in my joy while I can.

On the tram

Hello Singapore Zoo
And when we reached the ROM location, I was dumbstruck!!!
The sight of it was just beautiful.
Always wanted to have a garden wedding, and having a glimpse of it this time just left me pretty much speechless. Beautiful is an understatement!

Take a look at it yourself
(of course my picture aren't as nice)

Did I mention that it was Jie's birthday too. Yes it was on the 11.11.11. Nice number huh? =)

I guess she didn't have time to plan for her birthday, so kor surprised her with a cake instead at the feast we had. =)

Haha, she cried!!!
FOOD!!!
Chocolate eclair was the best food I had in Singapore. haha.
Buffet style feast in the zoo. =)

And they even gave a little toys for us to bring home. I got the Rhino. Cute huh?
After the ROM was done, I follow Jie home to help her out with a few undone errands. And finally managed to play with her chins. =) Cute huh? haha, I'm not sure what family they belong to exactly, but i'm guessing they're from the rodent family.

I got home later in the evening. I was exhausted as hell. was kinda falling sick then, down with fever. =( But I kept myself up.Got home, and got comfy in the room. It was still freezing!!!

Ma and anne!!! ROOM SERVICE BABY! I NEED FOOD!
I got comfortable myself. I need to get a bathrobe to keep at home. its like going around in a blanket! weeee
