It was high time for a holiday, a break from the nonsense in uni, an escape for me to have a little breather. Sounds like a fantasy come true huh? Except that this was VERY REAL! VERY REAL INDEED.
It was time for SINGAPORE
Yes, I traveled to Singapore. A place that I've been wanting to go back to stroll around with no worries. I was more than excited to head back to Singapore. Well, I'm not that irresponsible to just leave with no valid reason. Jie (Stephanie) and Kor (Yineng) are tying the knot. YES, GETTING MARRIED. And its Jie, how can I not be there to witness this beautiful moment.
AND ITS IN SINGAPORE!!!
(bare with me and my love for Singapore)
So, we woke up really early. Around 5 in the morning, got ready, waited for the cab (which was late), without any breakfast (I was hungry as hell).
The wake up look.

Trisha

I hate pushing the trolly

So they pushed the big ones instead
Reached the airport around 7. Checked in immediately. Had a few minutes to spare before boarding. During this few minutes, we had sometime to catch up with Leemin's parents. (Jie's Uncle and Aunty).
Trisha and I

Us three
A few moments to take pictures too?

Trish'a boarding pass
About time to get into the plane. Somehow, I really do not like departing from LCCT. Just doesn't give a very comfortable feeling. (Plays Final Destination in my head) Chills.

In the plane. Lets fly baby.
I absolutely love the feeling when the plane is lifting off. Total jakun. Wanted to take a few shots of the clouds but they didn't let me use my camera. Oh well. I pass this area, and saw this REALLY LONG CURVY RIVER (in Malaysia) and I thought it was really beautiful. It wasn't really a long ride, come to think of it, its really short. We board, we lift off, they sell their food, we eat, they collect rubbish, and we land. One after another almost immediately. Its really no surprise that the food they sell in AirAsia is expensive as hell. So lets just starve in the plane a little while more and eat in Singapore instead. (Sides, the food in the plane are not edible)
Changi Airport Baby!!!
Even the air in Singapore smells better. Cleaner!

Arrived safe and sound

I have to say, it is a really beautiful airport.
Jie, Kor, Aunty Theresa, and Uncle Raymond picked us up from the airport. And guess what, JIE BOUGHT US TICKETS TO UNIVERSAL STUDIOS!!! Hell Yeah!
Jie took our stuff, and checked in Concorde Hotel for us at Orchard Road. Hotel was good, service was good, environment was good, it was just damn good overall. Anyways, we took a maxi cab and headed University Studios. Why wait any longer! Weeee, its been a while since I acted like a child being so excited over a theme park!

In maxi cab.
Haha, Honestly, the uncle driving the cab was really nice. All of them are actually. They have this little stool for my grandmother to step on before getting into the cab, and all the uncles will actually help you up and down the cab like real gentlemen, not to mention, opening doors and closing doors. AND GUESS WHAT, THEY'RE EFFICIENT, I have to wait NO LONGER than 8 minutes for them to arrive. (unlike Msia, waiting for few hours sometimes to get a public transport).

Entrance
We were warmly greeted by Mister Frankenstein upon arrival

Mum had her thing going on with him. hahaha
Time to eat, breakfast, brunch, lunch.... wtv you wanna call it, I was hungry.
Haha, one downside about Singapore is that their food isn't as good and tasteful as Malaysia. Its really bland.

There were so many ride, and so many games to play around. I didn't manage to take any pictures during them because either the ride was a wet ride, or I was too excited running around I didn't have time to take out my camera. Oh well. There was this Flying Coach Ride (I think thats the name of it), it reminded me of the ride we have up in Genting (Superman). We sat that ride first. Trisha's first time riding on ride as such. She was either too young or too short (yes she's as tall as me now). OHHHHH, and THERE WAS THIS MUMMY RIDE!!! I'm telling you, it was the best ride ever. Better than the ones I've sat in Aussieland, and of course from any in Msia. Dad sat with us the first time, and Rianne, Trisha and I sat again after. If yall ever head to Universal Studios, this ride is A MUST!

After all the crazy fun, 4-D Shrek Adventure, scary mummy ride, we needed to rest. So instead of staying any longer, we decided to head back to the hotel. As we were going out, we spotted this candy shop! HELLO, CANDY SHOP, WHO CAN RESIST!!! The 3 of us, ran in like hooligans!

Trisha

Chocolates baby!
JUST LOOK AT THE BEAUTIFUL SIGHT OF SINFUL COLOURED SUGAR.

Assorted Candy Dandy!!
JELLY BEAN BABY, JELLY BEANS!!!

Haha, cute chocolate packaging

Drinks and chocolate balls, and other pretty things that were on the shelf.
We headed back to the hotel around 3 plus pm. Jie and kor was waiting for us there. haha, as usual, Rianne and I would run to the room booking our beds. Unfortunately, this time she went first, so I had to sleep in the middle. Poor me. Hotel room was absolutely comfortable. IT WAS FREEZING COLD. EVEN WHEN THE AIRCON WAS OFFED!!! Imagine that!!!
Toilet was clean, big, and they had a bathtub. Ahhh bathtubs are scary. So getting pulled inside by something *******...... Lets not spoil my moment now. We showered, got some rest, slept till about 7pm and headed out for dinner. Kuan Yi Yi was free to met up with us. Woots, its been a while since we saw her. Haha, it was lovely to see her again. She makes me laugh all the time.
Had dinner at Plaza Singapore, at the food court. There were so many different types of food there, I took literally half an hour to pick what I want. Eventually, mum asked me to try this korean dish, which I really didn't like it. Dad's indo rice was really good, and the soup I order wasn't all bad as well. After dinner, we headed of to some shopping complexes along orchard road. Headed there to get Jie a present too. Her birthday, 11.11.11. =D
So this was practically my first day in Singapore. Yeah, I bought a Singapore number too, didn't use my Malaysia number, so if any of you tried to reach me, sorry. =)
Woots, Day One was awesome. Day Two will be up soon.
Singapore is clean everywhere, I like.
