What a meal huh?
you're probably thinking whats the occasion, so here goes...
A long long long long long long long, (ok, it wasn't so long) time ago, a few of us decided to have a cook out session which made the evening quite a memorable one. Honestly thinking about about the dining experience makes me really hungry right now. Oh well, this was how the whole thing started.
Our dear Elwyn wanted a cook out session, and wanted the food to go Fusion Style. So, Edwin decided to come up with some Fusion Style Recipe and although its not the normal combination of ingredients you get outside, you'll be shock with how everything just complimented each other.
Edwin and I went to get dry ice in the morning. Two big blocks was more that enough to impress me. haha, you'll see what I'm talking about later on. We went to giza after for some grocery shopping, and met up with Elwyn. After buying all the ingredients, we got home, and started with everything. You know, I never knew this, but its the preparation time that is time consuming, not the cooking time. haha.

Cutting skills
Kian Fai Dai Kor joined us after a while. I must say, it was really lovely to have friends over to have a cookout session.
Making Dessert
It was this that fascinated me. I love the dry ice effect. SMOKEYYY!!!

This was how Edwin made his ice cream. I never knew ice cream could be made this way. Something new I learnt I guess. AHHHH, i love this pictures. so smokey!!! =D
After all the cooking, and the messing around... we're ready to eat!

Mocktail of the day - Herbiéto
Clod freezy, with a lil crunch on the sago.. thirst quenching =)

Appretizer – Creamy Carrot Soup
Wasn't too thick or watery, just the way I like it
Main Course - Polenta Crusted Stuffed Chicken with
Curried Leave Mushrooms with Creamy Butter (Lai Yau) Spaghetti and Thai Style
Salad served with Curry Sauce and Wasabi Mayo
Look little huh? but trust me when I say it is FILLING!!!
What a meal without dessert? =) Pineapple isn't my cup of tea, but the ice cream was just amazing. Ice cream lover, what can I say? =)
Haha, we're bound to have more cookout session. Be a part of the next one? Just let me know.
All credited to Chef Edwin, including pictures.
Of course many thanks to Elwyn and Kian Fai too.
