How I Step Up With Nuffnang

'

Before I start I must say that the second best flash mob I've seen so far isn't exactly a dance but the video clip above (watch it, its only 1.05 minutes, WORTH YOUR TIME)
I am a dancer myself and having the sync spirit with your partner in a dance is so important! And the actors in the clip are so synchronizes, it deserves a standing ovation!

Anyways,
If I were to organise a flash mob...

There will be a few things I'd think about

NO. 1 VENUE
Of course having a flash mob at somewhere no one would expect would be a total knock off. The first thing that came to mind was actually in the toilet, but really, who the hell would wanna stay in the toilet to watch. Sides, having one gender watching isn't that fun. But really, if I were to organise my own flash mob I would actually do it during the
BERSIH rally

What other occasion would have such a big crowd?
Having dancers at the crowd like this would be amazing. Bersih is done for a good cause right, dancers too have the right to stand up for something we belief in. But instead of saying it with words, or acting it out of aggression.. we dancers do it in a more expressive manner. We dance to make our stand, we dance to make our point, we dance to express our words.

Haha, wouldn't you think it would reduce the tension in the whole crowd as well? Entertain the citizens, entertaining the police and it would be so friendly, it probably would end peacefully!!!

I mean, you've gotta admit, anyone who has the guts to pull of a huge flash mob during the rally would really impress you.

NO. 2 DANCERS/ACTORS

Denia Dance

Really, anyone would do. Anyone who wants to dance and be a part of this. I doubt I would choreograph killer steps, no split leaps in the air, or any moves that requires breaking bones and muscle achings. As long as dancers are fluent with the moves and are all synchronised, it would be really good looking already. But if I were to start, from a dance organization first. Its not gonna be anything special if I do spread the word bout a flash mob happening during the rally right. Where's the element of surprise then?
  1. Dancers from dance schools/dance organizations/dance clubs in universities/NUFFNANG BLOGGERS?!
  2. Gather a minimum of 100 recruits
  3. Choreograph moves
  4. PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE
  5. Remind everyone to have on a YELLOW attire on that day
  6. And we're as good as perfect (after tones of practice)

NO. 3 DANCE

In every flash mob, one person would always start first! ALWAYS. Instead this time, I would want a child to start. A really young child.

It would definitely be something different. One young boy starts, then 2 more kids joining in, then another 3 kids joining in, then the number increases and increase till it probably reaches 15-20 children and then the teens and adults joins in. If the dance reaches to 200 pax of dancers, I'm telling you, it would be amazing!

Just imagine you sitting at the bersih rally, and suddenly a song comes on, LOUD enough for everyone to listen. A child starts dancing and other children joins in bit by bit. Then, teens and adults join in reaching almost 100-200 over dancers. All syncs together, all races, all heights, all sizes, all dancing for one good cause.
Trust me when I say it would go down in history
WHOLE MALAYSIA WOULD BE TALKING ABOUT IT!

As a Malaysian, I would be very proud

I end my post with this other flash mob clip! Number one BEST FLASH MOB!
Song - Sound of Music, Do Re Mi - WORTH IT, so WATCH!
